“ Ive dined at Fan Fried Rice Bar many times and am always blown away by the food and the incredible team behind it. They offer great options for dietary restrictions, which I truly appreciate, and recently introduced a new cocktail menu thats absolutely delicious. Whether youre stopping in for a quick bite or booking a larger Resy with friends, this spot never disappoints. The owners are fantastic people who genuinely care about their customers, if I could give them more than five stars, I would! ”
“ This is one of my favorite restaurants in Williamsburg! The Taiwanese sausage fried rice is soooo good. You really cant go wrong with the whole menu. ”
“ One of my absolute favorite places! The food is delicious, fresh and unique compared to anything else in the neighborhood. The service is excellent quick, friendly, and get with recommendations! I cant wait to come back still dreaming of the Taiwanese Sausage Fried Rice. ”
“ Fried rice is usually a simple food, but Fan takes it to another level of deliciousness. The absolute highlight was the Bone In Pork Chop Fried Rice. It was truly authentic Taiwanese Pork Chop crispy, salty and so tender and matched so well with the fluffy fried rice. The popcorn chicken also tasted great but could have been softer meat. Everything paired well with a good selection of beer and a really nice bar. Finally, the service was friendly, attentive and simply excellent. ”
“ Wow amazing solid fried rice! I saw a Taiwanese YouTuber visiting this place saying the fried rice is like the famous Ding Tai Fung fried rice. It surely was on par with Ding Tai Fung quality and probably even better because the chef offers umami options with mushroom! He also doesnt use any soy sauce so its free of refined sugar and one can really taste the simple yet great flavors of the fried rice. The deep fried mushroom was amazing too, even better than what we had in Taiwan night market. ”
“ This places fried rice is like home. Home style with a bit of flare these fried rices and appetizers transported me back to Taiwan for a glimpse. The popcorn chicken, sausage, and cucumbers were delicious and flavorful. The star pork chop with fried rice was divine. The breading on the pork chop was just a bit chewier like mochi and with the pork itself so tender and not dry at all! For an authentic Taiwanese food, this place does a pretty good job of meeting that requirement. ”
“ If youre craving some authentic Taiwanese fried rice, youve come to the right place. The authentic Taiwanese flavors took me back to Taiwan with every bite. The Mushroom Fried Rice is a musttry, and their Lychee Taiwan Beer is the perfect match. Friendly service and a cozy vibes. Love it! ”
“ Delicious classics. All the fried rice dishes nostalgically bring me back to my childhood. Whether eating in restaurant with some friends or getting some quick takeout, this place is a staple in my rotation. If you want to try something new, I love the Zucchini Salad and Black Pepper Steak Bites too! ”
